FAQs
Here you'll find answers to common queries about our initiatives, useful guides, and how you can contribute to making a positive impact on animal welfare.
Are you part of the GSPCA?
No. We are an independent not-for-profit company. We are not affiliated with any other animal welfare organization in Guyana, but we do work along closely with others for various projects and rescues.
Do you have a shelter?
No, we don't. All animals rescued are kept in the homes of our volunteer foster providers.
Do you have any plans of starting a shelter?
Our long-term vision is to one day have a sanctuary for animals instead of a traditional shelter.
Do you provide veterinary services?
No. However, we share amicable work relations with several known registered veterinarians and technicians.

What is the process to adopt a pet from your organization?
The process begins by completing the adoption application form and an authorized member will contact you to conduct the pre-adoption interview and home inspection (we do not bring the pet along for this process). Upon completion of the pre-adoption inspection you’ll be advised of the next steps. Click here to find out more.
How do I become a volunteer?
Volunteers are recruited in batches on a quarterly basis. The process begins by completing the volunteer application form and our volunteer coordinator will contact you. Click here to learn more.
